Just add half a century … Created with the “Hope Springs” kit
Sometimes it’s good to keep it simple, and that’s what I have done with this month’s ColorPlay at Oscraps.
(ColorPlay is a monthly event at Oscraps where all the designers can create with the same colours, and the resulting designs are HALF PRICE for the first weekend).
This month we had some very pretty colours to play with, that led me to create this classic but still ‘arty’ kit packed with lots of paint and mixed media bits as well as useful elements. I found the colours really restful and lovely to create with :-)
And the result was fun to use for both new AND heritage photos … (Can’t quite believe I am sharing this first one though..) ;-)
A free collection for you *
*Some self assembly required … ;-)
The first weekend of May is a big one in the creative calendar - iNSD (international Scrapbooking Day) which is always marked by storewide sales.
And at The Lilypad, there is also a traditional pre-iNSD bloghop.
If you hop from stop to stop you can collect all the pieces that make up the ‘Ocean Adventures’ collection. (PS and during the sale itself from May 3, there will be ‘Forest’ and ‘Mountain’ collections available as ‘free with purchase’ bonuses)
My bloghop contribution is a pack of papers, and you can download it by clicking on the image of the papers (same one as below) in this thread kicking off the hop at The Lilypad
(Unfortunately, due to snafus and the fact I am travelling right now, mine isn’t hosted at my blog or here, but you can find it at that starting post in the forum)
PS also look out for the traditional ‘pick your prize’ event at The Lilypad. You can be in with a chance to win just by commenting with your favourite product of mine.
Here’s just a few of my recent designs that you can pick from ….
