THE FRUIT OF PHOTOWALKS
I know I am old - or, at least, OLDER - because I no longer love only the buzz of exploring a huge city, but instead really enjoy wandering in quiet little villages and in nature.
One walk we recently went on was the Cirque Du Bone, high above the River Aveyron in France. As usual, we wandered completely off the route but we had a great time taking photos of all the plants, insects and the view.
I love creating with the photos later, reliving the walk and putting the pictures to use to create a photobook page merging them together in one whole.
Although it was summer, the more autumnal/winter themed ‘Cabin in the Woods” collection worked perfectly for this - which is not surprising as the collection was very much inspired by the trip.
Here are some other creations with it, with photos from the same trip:
And another with one of my Mother-in-law’s slides from her travels in Portugal in the 1960s, when it was a very different place to what it is now:

I remember when Photo Walks used to be a new thing and I used to share a lot about it. I always enjoyed taking a walk just to saunter and take pictures and not have to rush about for exercise purposes. And then I got to play with my photos for a week and share them. Is a truly relaxing and wonderful activity.
Stunning scenery and creations! 💞
