Annie the lamb … Created with the “Strange” collection
I loved Annie the lamb. I found her when I was wandering alone (trespassing on) a neighbouring farm, lying next to her dead mother. We brought her home and fed her with a bottle. She seemed to love me as much as I love her, and was quite a character. So I was quite hurt a couple of years later on a visit, after we had moved away and left her with another neighbour as their pet. She had absolutely no interest in me .. a goldfish-type memory wiped as she ran with the other sheep.
One of the strange memories that I loved recording after stumbling across this sweet photo of the two of us, taken by my Dad. Look at her smiling face!
Just another of the odd little stories from my life that will be captured in my photobooks (and in next year’s calendar for my mum!)
Life throws up lots of strangeness and mysteries, and this collection is perfect for playing with photos that capture that.
Whether old or new … (I must be feeling nostalgic as I definitely veered toward ‘old’ this week)
Also on sale (at The Lilypad)
The “Growth Can Be Hard” collage kit is now at The Lilypad, and on sale this weekend.
It has lots of vintage feeling distressed and artistic elements that are really fun to play with.
